This week's report takes a closer look at how our projections for Week 11 stacked up against actual performance on the field - spotlighting the calls we nailed, the players who exceeded expectations, and the disappointments who fell short. By examining both the hits and the misses, we gain valuable insight into how players are performing. While recognizing that it's nearly impossible to perfectly project every player's performance, we're not shy about showing you every miss and hit.
Spot On
Several players ended the week very close to where they were projected to. Jordan Love - Projected 17.60, Scored 17.66
Love essentially hit his projection, finishing the week almost dead-on. Even with Malik Willis coming in, Love delivered dependable QB2 value.
Jakobi Meyers - Projected 9.00, Scored 8.90
Meyers missed his projection by a hair, producing a nearly identical outcome to what models expected. It's a minor letdown for those needing a little upside, but overall this was a neutral outing - usable as a flex.
Matt Prater - Projected 8.20, Scored 8.00
Prater finished just below projection, another example of kicker volatility but nothing dramatic. For fantasy rosters this week he provided the expected mid-range kicker output; managers relying on him got a near-expected return rather than a game-changing performance.
Over Performed
Quite a few players exceeded their expectations this week helping fantasy managers to a win. Week 11 recap (short):
Sean Tucker - projected 7.50, scored 33.00 (+25.50): A massive breakout fantasy day well above expectations. Tucker turned what looked like a low-upside week into a must-start outing and was a true waiver-wire/bench-saver for managers who started him.
Josh Allen - projected 22.80, scored 42.68 (+19.88): An elite QB performance that easily cleared his projection. Allen delivered a league-winning week, providing big passing/rushing production and finishing as the top fantasy QB.
Kenneth Gainwell - projected 7.60, scored 26.00 (+18.40): A surprising high-ceiling game that outpaced projections by a wide margin. Gainwell gave fantasy squads excellent value as a flex/starting option.
Under Performed
Unfortunately, not everyone lived up to their expectations. Justin Herbert - Projected 21.00, Actual 3.34 (â17.66, 15.9% of projection)
Injuries suck.
Lamar Jackson - Projected 20.60, Actual 4.72 (â15.88, 22.9% of projection)
Jackson finished well below expectations, producing only 4.72 points on a 20.6 projection. He was inefficient against a solid defense. He'll bounce back next week.
Josh Jacobs - Projected 19.10, Actual 4.00 (â15.10, 20.9% of projection)
Injuries suck. Seriously.
