This is the Fantasy Football Nerd's look at the best and worst matchups for Week 11 of the 2020 NFL season. Analysis is aggregated from multiple sources including FFN. FFN rankings are based upon PPR (point per reception) scoring. Given the known conditions, these matchups are the ones to watch and/or avoid.
Please Note: This list does not generally include the elite players that you are going to start regardless of matchup. You don't need us to tell you to start Christian McCaffrey, Travis Kelce, or Michael Thomas. Instead, we take a look at other players on your team that we believe either have great matchups or should be avoided for multiple reasons. Factors like opposing defense, performance trending, and peer comparisons may influence our decisions.

Start 'em Taysom Hill (NO, QB)Despite much speculation, it would appear that Taysom Hill, and not Jameis Winston, will start against the Falcons this week. Hill has apparently taken all the starter reps at practice. This would be Hill's first start at QB, and for a guy typically used as a gadget-type player, this should be an interesting start. Hill comes into our rankings at #13 largely on the basis of his opponent. Nobody has given up more fantasy points to QB's than the Falcons. Roll the dice and let's see what happens here.

Start 'em Ben Roethlisberger (PIT, QB)As Abraham Lincoln once said, "Four Scores and One Week Ago" (OK, perhaps he didn't really say that), Big Ben comes into this week's rankings at #7 after a fantastic game last week where he really did throw four touchdowns. Jacksonville is giving up the 3rd-most fantasy points to QB's including an average of 29.3 points over the last three games.

Start 'em Matt Ryan (ATL, QB)Ranked 10th this week on FFN is Matty Ice on the road to New Orleans which has historically been a high-scoring affair. The Saints have given up almost 22 fantasy points per game to quarterbacks on the season, plus Ryan also has a chance to get Calvin Ridley back this week.

Start 'em D'Andre Swift (DET, RB)Ranked inside our Top 5 this week (ppr) is D'Andre Swift. The Lions seemingly finally saw the light and gave him the start last week. Both the Lions and fantasy owners were rewarded with a 25.9 point day. Let the good times roll with the Panthers who are surrendering the 5th-most fantasy points to running backs this year. He also makes for a sneaky DFS play.
UPDATE: Since publication, Swift was been declared INACTIVE for Week 11.

Start 'em Kalen Ballage (LAC, RB)It's OK - do a double-take. Yes, that's Kallen Ballage ranked inside our Top 20 this week. With Justin Jackson on IR, Ballage was the Chargers' primary back rushing 18 times for 68 yards and tacking on 5 receptions for 34 yards against Miami's defense. Now, he'll get to face a Jets corp that is giving up the 8th-most fantasy points to running backs this year.

Start 'em Nyheim Hines (IND, RB)It has become very difficult to predict which running back is going to be the most productive from the Indy backfield each week. Taylor has seen his shares decrease each week, and when everyone thought Wilkins would be the guy in Week 10, Hines emerged as the back to own. All have a good shot this week against a Packers defense that has served up fantasy points to running backs on a green and gold platter this season.

Start 'em Amari Cooper (DAL, WR)What a world it's been when Amari Cooper has to be mentioned in the Start column. He's ranked 25th this week on FFN facing a Minnesota secondary currently giving up the 2nd-most fantasy points to receivers. He'll have Andy Dalton under center, and while Dalton is no Dak, he's certainly better than DiNucci.

Start 'em Justin Jefferson (MIN, WR)The dynamic rookie has emerged into a fantasy threat. After hauling in 8 catches for 135 yards on Monday night, Jefferson has topped the century mark in four games this year. He's likely to make it five when he faces the Cowboys who are incredibly generous with their fantasy points to receivers.

Start 'em Diontae Johnson (PIT, WR)Diontae Johnson, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Chase Claypool are all solid options this week. Johnson is coming off his first 100+ yard game and has seen at least 10 targets in five games this season. Fire him up against a Jacksonville secondary surrendering the 9th-most fantasy points to receivers on the year.

Start 'em Hunter Henry (LAC, TE)While Hunter Henry hasn't topped more than 33 yards since Week 4, his targets have largely held steady. He's been the ideal security blanket for Justin Herbert. He found the endzone last week and could again in Week 11 against the Jets who are giving up the 9th-most fantasy points.

Start 'em Eric Ebron (PIT, TE)While inconsistent at times, Eric Ebron is in a good spot to put up points this week. The Jaguars have given up the 4th-most fantasy points to tight ends including 13 points to Darren Fells and 24 points to Jonnu Smith.

Start 'em Los Angeles Chargers (LAC, DEF)It's the Chargers turn to beat up on the hapless New York Jets. No other team is giving up more fantasy points to opposing DST's than the Jets.

Start 'em Chris Boswell (PIT, K)The Steelers offense is humming along nicely, and that extends to the kicker position. Coming off his first double-digit performance of the year, leave Chris Boswell penciled into your lineups against a Jacksonville defense giving up the 5th-most fantasy points.

Sit 'em Jared Goff (LAR, QB)After a disappointing game last week, Goff draws the Bucs on Monday night in what will likely result in another disappointment. Tampa Bay has given up the 7th-fewest fantasy points including keeping four quarterbacks to 14 points or less.

Sit 'em Carson Wentz (PHI, QB)It has become incredibly difficult to trust Carson Wentz in fantasy, and that trust isn't likely to improve in Week 11 against Cleveland. The Browns have largely kept opposing signal callers in check. Over their last two games, they've kept Deshaun Watson and Derek Carr to an average of just 13 fantasy points. Add in the fact that Wentz himself has averaged just 7 fantasy points over his last two games, and this is a matchup you'll want to avoid.

Sit 'em Tom Brady (TB, QB)This is a tough one because you're likely to start him anyway, but the matchup for Brady this week is going to be brutal. Nobody has given up fewer fantasy points to quarterbacks than the Rams. In fact, no other team has kept more QBs in the single digits than Los Angeles.

Sit 'em Le'Veon Bell (KC, RB)Since joining the reigning Super Bowl champs, Le'Veon Bell has contributed virtually nothing to either the Chiefs or fantasy owners. In fact, the only time he's seen the endzone all year has been during pre-game warmups. He's averaging just 5 carries for 18 yards per game, and may only have fantasy value if rookie Clyde Edwards-Helaire misses time.

Sit 'em JK Dobbins (BAL, RB)While JK Dobbins saw more snaps than any other Ravens running back, he actually had fewer touches. With Mark Ingram back, Dobbins' fantasy value comes back down to Earth. He's ranked 36th this week on FFN making him a low-end flex play in what would otherwise be a strong fantasy matchup.

Sit 'em Darrell Henderson (LAR, RB)Darrell Henderson has started to see his workload drop over the past two games where he's been relegated to single-digit carries. A trip to the endzone last week salvaged his fantasy week. A combination of Cam Akers gaining traction and a tough matchup with the Bucs this week makes Henderson a risk/reward flex option at best.

Sit 'em Marquise Brown (BAL, WR)Even though Hollywood Brown is averaging more than 6 targets per game, the speedster has failed to hit double-digit PPR fantasy production in six of nine games this year. In fact, he's been held under 10 points over his last five games. It's difficult to trust him even when the matchup looks so good on paper.

Sit 'em Antonio Brown (TB, WR)Tom Brady is trying to get it to Antonio Brown targeting him 13 times over the past two games. Eventually he's going to find the endzone, but it may need to wait. Nobody gives up fewer fantasy points to receivers this year than the Rams, and there are a lot of mouths to feed in Tampa Bay.

Sit 'em T.Y. Hilton (IND, WR)Hilton is no longer the fantasy stud that he once was, and a matchup with the Packers on Sunday afternoon isn't likely to change that fact. While running backs have fared well against the Pack, receivers have largely struggled. Green Bay has kept most to single digits including players like Julio Jones, Chris Godwin, D.J. Chark, and Justin Jefferson.

Sit 'em Robert Tonyan (GB, TE)Baby Kittle hasn't delivered much for fantasy owners. He's dealing with an ankle injury that has limited his production to just 2 catches for 19 yards over his last two games. Tonyan hasn't reached the endzone since his monster game in Week 4, and a matchup with the Colts suggests that he won't this week either. Nobody gives up fewer fantasy points to tight ends than Indy this year.

Sit 'em Mike Gesicki (MIA, TE)What happened to Mike Gesicki? Over his last four games, he has averaged just 1.5 receptions per game and hasn't seen the endzone since September. While he managed to haul in 40 of Tua Tagovailoa's 169 yards last week, there's just not enough volume for him. Even worse, he'll face a Broncos defense that is giving up the 10th-fewest points per game including keeping stud Darren Waller to just 6 points last week.

Sit 'em Atlanta Falcons (ATL, DEF)Even with Drew Brees sidelined, there are enough weapons on the Saints' offense to keep the Falcons defense busy. New Orleans remains in the Top 5 in fewest points given up to opposing DST's.

Sit 'em Stephen Gostkowski (TEN, K)There will be better days ahead for Stephen Gostkowski, but a matchup with the Ravens isn't going to be one of them. Nobody gives up fewer fantasy points to kickers than Baltimore.
