Week 7 Waiver Wire Targets

Here are 5 guys to target this week on your league's waiver wire.

Alfred Morris Darren McFadden

Alfred Morris, RB - DAL or Darren McFadden, RB - DAL

The Zeke Elliott situation is messy once again. The only thing clear right now is that the Cowboys will play the Niners on Sunday afternoon and Elliott will not suit up. What remains to be seen is which back will emerge. Alf Morris will likely be the favorite to start - particularly because McFadden has been a scratch each week, but it's really going to depend on who shows up on Sunday. Morris is our pick because he doesn't have the storied injury history that Run DMC has.

Orleans Darkwa, RB - NYG

I was wrong last week with two of my targets. Adrian Peterson surpassed all expectations with his debut in the desert, and Wayne Gallman was not the back to own in the Giants backfield. Orleans Darkwa was the clear leader in the Giants' surprise win over the Broncos. Darkwa led in touches with 21 carries for 117 yards. Next week's matchup is not particularly easy with Seattle, but Darkwa could be an RB3 this season.

Dion Lewis, RB - NE

Nobody likes predicting what will happen with the Patriots backfield. Dion Lewis had a season-high 11 carries last week, but he made the most of them rushing for 52 yards and a score. He'll still play third on the depth chart behind Gillislee and White, and the situation gets muddier with Burkhead eventually back in the mix, but Lewis is worth rostering in deeper leagues.

Chris Ivory, RB - JAC

Picking up Chris Ivory is all about Leonard Fournette's ankle injury. If Fournette misses any time, Ivory's value goes up. While he has been quiet this year playing second on the depth chart, he turned in a solid outing last week hauling in 9 catches for 74 yards and a score. Keep an eye on Fournette's status.

Nelson Agholor, WR - PHI

The Eagles are rolling and they looked good against Carolina in last Thursday's game. He has been a fantastic slot receiver for Carson Wentz making the most of limited action. He's averaging just over 3 catches for 53.5 yards per game - not staggering numbers, but his targets have gone up over the past three games and he has scored in 4 of 6 games this year. He can be a WR3/flex play - particularly over the next two weeks.
