Where to Put 'em is the Fantasy Football Nerd's look at the best and worst matchups for Week 10 of the NFL season. Decisions are based upon the FFN rankings and matchup analysis. Given the known conditions, these matchups are the ones to watch and/or avoid.

Put 'em In The Game: Brett Favre
Say what you will but the ol' gunslinger has been a pretty solid fantasy QB this year. He faces the Detroit Lions this week who rank 31st against the pass giving up an average of 263 yards/game. They also rank 31st in points allowed giving up an average of 29 points per game. As long as AP doesn't run for a TD every time he touches the ball, Favre's tosses should see the endzone.
Put 'em In The Game: Jay Cutler
Get your lineup in before Thursday night when the Bears take on the 49er's. Cutler's coming off a monster game where he threw for 369 yards and 3 TD's. He won't have the same performance against San Fran, but the potential is there as long as he doesn't turn it over!
Put 'em In The Game: Steven Jackson
SJax is the only weapon in St Louis and the Saints are giving up an average of 112 yards/game (19th in the NFL) on the ground. New Orleans has also given up 11 TD's in 8 games on the ground. I expect SJax to pass the century mark in total yards along with a score.
Put 'em In The Game: Ray Rice
Normally I don't bother putting up the obvious studs, but Ray Rice has such an incredible matchup on Monday night against the Browns. They literally bleed points to RB's ranking 31st against the run giving up an average of 170 yards. Yes - you read that correctly.
Put 'em In The Game: Jamaal Charles
He may not have had the coming out party most hoped for, but if that's going to change, it's going to change this week against Oakland. It's not always the rushing yards as much as the receiving yards out of the backfield. I like Charles as a solid flex option this week.
Put 'em In The Game: Steve Smith
Steve Smith is so difficult to make projections on, but I like his odds this week against the Falcons where he has a solid track record against. Atlanta ranks 27th in the league against the pass. As long as Smith can get the ball...
Put 'em In The Game: Lee Evans
T.O.'s not the story here, nor is Trent Edwards. Lee Evans is a decent WR2 option this week against the Titans who are the league's worst pass defense.
Put 'em In The Game: Vernon Davis
Davis has been on a roll and he should continue that this week against the Bears who have given up plenty of points to opposing TE's. Davis comes in ranked 2nd among TE's this week on FFN in both standard and PPR leagues. Start him with confidence. In fact, he's become a must start in virtually all league formats.
Put 'em In The Game: Jeremy Shockey
You can start virtually any New Orlean's player this week against the Rams. Drew Brees is unselfish in where he throws the ball. Shockey is a solid start but he's an even more attractive option this week. The Rams rank 22nd against the pass and 29th in points allowed. Brees should be able to throw and score at will.
Put 'em On The Bench: Matt Ryan
I wouldn't normally recommend sitting Matt Ryan, but there are better, safer options this week. FFN sees Ryan as the 17th best QB this week as he faces the Panthers who rank 6th against the pass giving up 181 yards per game (108 yards at home). Turner will have a much easier time than Ryan will this week.
Put 'em On The Bench: Kyle Orton
Orton has done quite well in Denver, but this isn't a good week to start him. Washington has the BEST passing defense in the NFL and he'll have his work cut out for him. The Redskins allow a paltry 159 yards through the air.
Put 'em On The Bench: JaMarcus Russell
Sit him because he's...well...he's JaMarcus Russell. Sorry Raiders fans.
Put 'em On The Bench: Knowshon Moreno
Moreno was ridiculously bad against the Steelers last week gaining a whopping 3 yards on 5 carries. He should see more carries this week against Washington, but the Redskins are no slouches against the run. If Buckhalter wasn't in the picture, Moreno might have some more fantasy relevance, but not this week. Expect better weeks out of Moreno during Weeks 13 and 15.
Put 'em On The Bench: LaDainian Tomlinson
LT finds himself ranked 31st this week among running backs on FantasyFootballNerd.com. He faces the 10th-ranked Eagles run defense that's allowing less than 100 yards/game. He's also sharing plenty of carries with Darren Sproles which continues to hurt his value.
Put 'em On The Bench: Santana Moss
Jason Campbell is a poor play this week and so is Santana Moss. Moss faces the 7th-ranked Denver pass defense that will certainly be keying in on him. Moss is ranked 35th among WR's this week on FFN.
Put 'em On The Bench: DeSean Jackson
I'm going to disagree with the experts this week and go against the grain on Jackson. I'm not crazy about Donovan McNabb this week either. Jackson is ranked 8th this week among WR's, but I have difficulty seeing him achieve that ranking. He's listed on the injury report today, but he'll still play. San Diego is 5th in the league against the pass and he had a pathetic outing last week against the Cowboys. I've suggested sitting Jackson once earlier this season only to have him go off for a monster game. It could happen, but I'll be putting him on my bench this week.
Put 'em On The Bench: Greg Olsen
Why in the world would I sit Olsen after his 3-TD performance last week? He's about to face the 24th-ranked 49er's pass defense. He's one of Jay Cutler's favorite targets. Why would I consider sitting him? Simple - San Francisco is very tough on TE's allowing less than 6 points (standard scoring) per game. The sample size is large enough to cause concern. Opposing WR's have fared far better than TE's.

!&!A@#% (post-game remorse)

I'm one of many who started Vernon Davis only to be disappointed. Wow - the experts were way off on that one.

I feel just as bad for Jay Cutler owners - how many picks can 1 guy throw in a single game? Answer: 5. Sorry guys - I should have bolded my comments about Cutler - "as long as he doesn't turn it over".
