Brissett will see time as the starting quarterback in Cleveland for the first 11 weeks while Deshaun Watson is suspended. Once Watson comes back, Brissett is almost certain to revert to being a backup. There's rarely been a time when Brissett has been a good Fantasy quarterback and that doesn't seem to change now, particularly given the Browns' run-first approach and lack of firepower in the passing game. Brissett is at best worth a late-round pick in Superflex/two-QB formats as a bench option. It's laughable to even think about taking him in one-quarterback leagues.
We’ve seen enough of Brissett to know that the 30-year-old would not be a fantasy revelation if/when Deshaun Watson gets suspended. He’d be relevant only as a cheap DFS play and for 2-QB/superflex leagues.
