Tyrod Taylor completed 19-of-33 passes for 172 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 27-24, Week 13 win over the Falcons, adding eight rushes for 44 yards and a second score. Not the world's most amazing box score, but certainly better than what Justin Fields had been providing. Taylor also lost a potential second passing score when John Metchie dropped what looked like a TD early in the fourth quarter. For the touchdown Taylor did convert, he hit Adonai Mitchell after the boom/bust wideout ran right by Mike Hughes. It wasn't Taylor's best throw, but one Mitchell adjusted to. This being Taylor, he also got shaken up on a big second half hit but thankfully avoided any missed snaps. He will undoubtedly be sore on Monday, but Taylor should be out there for a plus Week 14 date with the Dolphins. He will find himself on the QB2/3 borderline in superflex leagues.
Is It Time To Add John Metchie?John Metchie is an easy player to root for, and now his play on the field is giving fantasy football fans even more reasons to cheer. Making his second straight start in Week 12 against the Ravens, Metchie led the Jets in catches (6) and receiving yards (65) and scored for the second consecutive game in the Jets' 23-10 loss.

John Metchie caught 6-of-7 targets for 65 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' Week 12 loss to the Ravens. After failing to see a target in the first quarter, Metchie connected with Tyrod Taylor on the Jets' fourth drive of the game, hauling in a 19-yard pass on the second play of the drive, and a 13-yard reception four plays later. The fourt-year receiver would make another 13-yard drive, this time finding the end zone to push his touchdown streak to two-straight games. Metchie has now gone for 110 yards and two touchdowns on nine receptions over the last two weeks and looks like the best receiver in a room that largely devoid of talent at the moment. He'll make for an interesting play in deeper leagues as a WR4 in Week 13 against the Falcons.
Tyrod Taylor completed 17-of-28 passes for 222 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Jets' 23-10, Week 12 loss to the Ravens.Taylor's lone interception came in the closing minutes of the game when things were well out of reach. Despite that hiccup, the veteran quarterback fared much better on Sunday against the Ravens than Justin Fields has in nearly every game this season. The Jets put the first points of the day on the board in the second quarter when Taylor connected with John Metchie for a 13-yard score, but unfortunately for the Jets, it was the only touchdown they would manage on the day. Taylor showed a great rapport with Metchie, who led the Jets with 6-65-1 on seven targets, and also got Breece Hall involved (4-75-0) through the air. Whether or not Aaron Glenn commits to Taylor as the Week 13 starter against the Falcons is anybody's guess, but Taylor didn't do anything to lose his job in this one. Assuming he gets the nod again, he'll be a low-end QB2 next week.
