Sean Tucker rushed four times for seven yards and a touchdown in the Buccaneers' Week 15 loss to the Falcons.Tucker got the scoring started by volturing a touchdown early in the contest. That makes back-to-back games with a trip to paydirt, but it's also three straight games he hasn't cleared 30 yards. He's as touchdown-dependent as you'll find in the league right now, in terms of offering potential fantasy value. It's potentially worth noting that Tucker did receive more carries than Rachaad White, as White carried the rock just one time for 20 yards in the loss.
Sean Tucker rushed seven times for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Bucs' Week 14 loss to the Saints.Tucker's one-yard touchdown in the third quarter came after he set the Bucs up at the one-yard with a 13-yard rumble. The Bucs then went hurry up and he punched it in. The score was nice, but Tucker was a distant third in snaps behind Bucky Irving and Rachaad White, and that should remain a theme for the stretch run as the Bucs try to grind out a rock fight NFC South title.
Rachaad White rushed 11 times for 53 yards in the Bucs' Week 14 loss to the Saints.White "added" a two-yard reception. With Baker Mayfield struggling in rainy conditions, the Bucs dialed up 33 running back rushes. White was out-carried just 15-11 by Bucky Irving, but it was Irving who provided the only Bucs RB score, a 24-yarder through the air. White has been spelling Irving plenty since his Week 13 return, but it is predictably failing to produce RB3 returns as Irving gets more overall work and the majority of the high-value touches. Although White has a decent enough touches floor, you will be in trouble if forced to FLEX him during the fantasy playoffs.
Tez Johnson caught 1-of-2 targets for five yards in the Bucs' Week 13 win over the Cardinals. With Bucky Irving finally back in action and Chris Godwin getting more involved, Johnson's usage cratered. The only time he made a noticeable impact in the game was when his second quarter OPI penalty took a Rachaad White touchdown off the board. Johnson should continue to soak up snaps and run routes in this short-handed offense, at least until Mike Evans returns. It's just not providing WR4 numbers in fantasy with the playoffs almost here.
Sean Tucker had two carries for zero yards in the Bucs' Week 13 win over the Cardinals. With Bucky Irving active for the first time since Week 4, Tucker received only one chance to establish the supposed "hot hand," and he flunked miserably. A distant third in both touches and snaps behind Irving and Rachaad White, Tucker seems to again be on the outside looking in of the Bucs' backfield rotation. Perhaps that changes if there is Week 14 garbage time against the Saints, but Tucker isn't looking worth a 12-team league roster spot with the playoffs about to begin.
