With the Jets coming out of their bye week, there was a chance Davis could see more work. Instead, he got out-touched 22-4 by Breece Hall. The Jets wanted this to be a two-back backfield, but Davis is not making it possible in Braelon Allen's absence. He's a shaky hold in 12-team leagues with the playoffs drawing closer.

You may be wondering how that statline came in a victory. Fields had not one, but two special teams touchdowns to thank, while Breece Hall turned on the afterburners after Fields diagnosed a zero blitz correctly and got the ball to his pass-catching back. Hall was then off to the races for a 42-yard "receiving score." Best play, etc. but Fields would have finished with *zero* net yards passing had his Hall attempt fallen incomplete, as he took three sacks for 12 yards. It didn't help that Garrett Wilson aggravated his knee injury and failed to finish the contest, but that was more than halfway through an already dreadful performance. The short week is not a good time to make a quarterback change, but Gang Green will probably consider Tyrod Taylor for Thursday evening against the Patriots.

Hall's 42-yard receiving score in the fourth quarter was the Jets' only positive play of the day. He handled a dump-off from a zero-blitzed Justin Fields then went basically untouched to the house. His fantasy managers needed it badly, as efficiency was impossible to come by while play volume was limited by a pair of Jets special teams touchdowns. Hall has now bookended the Jets' Week 9 bye with a pair of big fantasy efforts, but it's difficult to see the hot streak continuing for Thursday's short-week date with the Patriots, especially since Garrett Wilson's knee aggravation further degrades the Jets' bottom-three offensive environment. He's a boom/bust RB2 whether it is Fields or Tyrod Taylor under center.

The New York Jets used two special teams touchdowns and a relentless pass rush to beat the Cleveland Browns 17-14 in a rain-soaked win at MetLife Stadium. Kene Nwangwu returned a kickoff 99 yards for a score, and Isaiah Williams added a 74-yard punt return touchdown as the Jets built an early lead. Breece Hall totaled 125 scrimmage yards, and the defense notched six sacks to help New York secure its second straight victory and improve to 2-7.

Two special teams touchdowns and Breece Hall were enough for the Jets on Sunday.
