Amon-Ra St. Brown
2025 Season Outlooks
Over the past two seasons, St. Brown ranks third amongst all WRs in PPR Fantasy points, receiving touchdowns and receiving yards, and second in receptions. In 2025 we project him as a top-six wide receiver worth a pick at the one-two turn in Fantasy drafts. He is one of the safer players in all of Fantasy, but there is a little more risk this year because of Ben Johnson's departure and touchdown regression. Jared Goff set a career-high with a 6.9% TD rate and St. Brown was a big reason why, with an 8.5% rate. The first three years of his career St. Brown scored on 4.9% of his targets. That touchdown spike hid the fact that his targets fell by 1.5 targets per game due to an increased role for Jameson Williams and a drop in the team's pass rate. With Johnson gone, that pass rate, and possibly some of that efficiency, is a mystery going into 2025. He has the potential to finish as the No. 1 WR in Fantasy, but if his touchdown rate regresses and the targets don't bounce back he may be more of a low-end WR1.
St. Brown enters his fifth NFL campaign as the only player in the league with 105 or more receptions each of the past three seasons. Compared to 2023, St. Brown actually saw a decrease in targets, receptions and yards last season, but offset some of that with a career-high 12 touchdowns and still finished as the No. 3 fantasy WR for the second year in a row. He remains an elite, short-range target, having paced qualified wide receivers in catch rate (81%) in 2024 and having now ranked top 5 in first downs per route run for the third year in a row. The 25-year-old is a heavily utilized target in one of the league's best offenses and a clear top-5 fantasy wide receiver.
St. Brown has been an incredibly consistent wide receiver over the last three seasons. His PFF receiving grade has ranged from 90.0-91.0.
Where St. Brown has stood out the most is his receptions per route. He ranks first over every time period of his career, including a catch on 20.9% of his targets last season, and 20.2% during his career.
The Lions kept the same top four wide receivers, top two running backs, top two tight ends, and quarterback from last season, making the entire offense easier to project than most teams.
