2021 Season Outlooks

The Ravens filled a major need by drafting Patrick Queen in the first round last year. He is a do-everything three-down inside linebacker that became an immediate impact starter for the Ravens and a solid option for IDP managers. While he is a bit undersized at 6'0” 229 pounds, Queen makes up for it with instinct, quickness, and tenacity. He is a physical tackler who rarely misses, has good range, excels in coverage, and can get home on the blitz when asked to do so. The only thing missing from Queen's college resume was eye-catching statistical production. That trend followed him to the NFL where Queen totaled a modest 66 tackles and 40 assists as a rookie. His fantasy value got a significant boost from three sacks and four turnovers, making Queen a solid third starter in most leagues. There is reason to believe Queen will step up his production in year two. As a rookie, he was on the field in all situations over the course of the year but still saw action on about 80% of the defensive plays overall. Now that he has a year under his belt, it is expected that Queen will stay on the field for virtually every snap. If this is the case, it will increase his IDP value significantly.
