A day after LeBron James was L.A.'s hero with a tip-in to beat the Pacers as time expired, he was part of the Lakers' unraveling in a 119-117 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night that Josh Giddey won with a 47-foot 3-pointer from beyond halfcourt.

After missing Sacramento's last three games, Monk made his return to the rotation on Thursday. He was listed as a starter and even announced as one in the arena, but he ended up coming off the bench, with Keon Ellis remaining in the starting lineup. Ellis ended up playing 31 minutes to Monk's 17 and contributing 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, six steals, one block and two triples. It's unclear if Ellis will continue to start, or if Monk is still getting his conditioning back after dealing with an illness. This is a situation worth keeping an eye on.

This game was all about buckets for LaVine, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at this point. Outside of the two rebounds he grabbed, he didn't contribute any value for fantasy managers, scoring aside. However, he scored less than 20 points in each of Sacramento's last four games, and he was incredibly efficient with his shot on Thursday. Sure, it would be nice if he did more than score, but he won't put up goose eggs in nearly every other category like he did in this game often. Still, he'll look to keep the offense flowing during their upcoming six-game road trip against Eastern Conference teams, which starts in Orlando on Saturday.

Avdija cooled off a bit after back-to-back 30-point performances, but he was able to lead Portland in scoring on Thursday despite the loss. Still, over the past two weeks, Avdija has averaged 22.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists, one steal and 3.4 triples per game, which has him ranked inside the top 20 in nine-cat scoring during this stretch. He'll look to keep it going in New York on Sunday to close out the week. He had 27 points and 15 rebounds in a loss to the Knicks earlier this month.

Sharpe continues to start with Jerami Grant (knee) still sidelined. Hopefully you aren't holding out hope that Grant is going to return this season. Sharpe has taken advantage of the opportunity and has scored at least 20 points in three of his last four appearances. The rebounding numbers have been decent, but he struggles to provide value in multiple categories, which limits his value outside of points formats. Still, this development is important for a player with loads of upside that will turn 22 in at the end of May. Dynasty managers still have reason for optimism.

Despite success late last season, Reath wasn't able to carve out a spot in the rotation for most of this year with Portland. However, he has taken on a larger role in the month of March, which allowed him to set a new season-high with 17 points on Thursday. He scored in double figures in three straight games last week but scored a total of eight points across their last two games entering Thursday. He played 28 minutes to Donovan Clingan's 18, which isn't a trend that will stick with any consistency, making it difficult to justify rostering Reath despite him playing well on Thursday.

Doncic wasn't able to extend his streak of 30-point games to five, but he was still able to provide well-rounded production despite a subpar shooting night. It wasn't enough to offset the late-game heroics from Chicago, but it was more than enough to make an impact for fantasy managers. The Lakers will wrap up the week in Memphis on Saturday, and then they'll play four games next week, with a back-to-back on Thursday and Friday. However, Doncic was able to play in this back-to-back for the Lakers, so managers shouldn't stress, especially with LA fighting for playoff positioning.

George bounced back from two ugly games where he was a combined 2-of-15 from the field and combined for only 14 points. The 21-year-old point guard topped those numbers with 17 points on 11 shots Thursday against the Rockets. He also dished out eight assists and now has at least seven assists in three of his last four games. George, who is shooting just under 40 percent from the field this year, is due for some ups and downs with his field goal percentage as that part of his game still needs more work.

Sexton was hardly efficient with 21 points on 20 shots and was a -15 in 32 minutes in the Jazz' 11-point loss. The 26-year-old shooting guard has been mostly quiet in March, averaging 17.4 points per game and with one 30-point effort against the Celtics on March 21. Sexton's fantasy value is mostly tied to his status as a starter for Utah. It's a fairly unexciting profile otherwise.

Thompson recorded his fourth double-double in his last seven games after sitting out Tuesday's game against the Hawks with an ankle injury. The 22-year-old point guard is an excellent rebounder for his position. He's had at least nine rebounds in 10 of his last 11 games. Thompson's impact on the game can't be overstated and it's great news for the Rockets and fantasy managers that he's back on the court.

Mitchell got off to a hot start with the Heat but was eventually pushed to a bench role. However, he has started to thrive as a reserve. He has scored in double figures in six consecutive games and played at least 30 minutes in all of them, which is a large workload for a player coming off the bench. He also has dished out at least six dimes in each game during Miami's current three-game win streak. The former top ten pick has found new life with the Heat after never finding his footing in Sacramento or Toronto.

Gilgeous-Alexander's incredible season continued Thursday as he scored at least 20 points for the 66th game in a row. The 26-year-old point guard is in the middle of an MVP season. He missed both of his three-point attempts against the Grizzlies but was otherwise excellent as he poured in 37 points on 25 shots and dished out six assists. The only potential drawback for SGA's fantasy managers would be if the Thunder elect to rest him for the playoffs.

After lighting up Golden State for 27 points, Adebayo was quieter on the offense end against Atlanta, which has been the case for him for most of the season. However, he was able to record a double-double after going eight straight games without one, and he was able to contribute some dimes and swipes to make up for the lack of scoring. Miami is clicking at the right time, and they may be able to ride this momentum into some victories in the Play-In Tournament, especially if Bam continues to do a little bit of everything for them.
