Welcome to the 2020 NFL Season!

We may not have an official NFL schedule just yet, but we have early fantasy football rankings available and are ready for the 2020 NFL season...whenever it gets here.

We've been busy behind the scenes this off-season.

  • Now fully supporting private leagues on NFL.com - our Lineup Analyzer tool supports private leagues across all of our platforms (ESPN, Yahoo, NFL.com, CBS, etc)
  • Added some additional sources to our consensus
  • Created our Correspondents Program for aspiring Fantasy Writers
  • Overhauled our DFS Lineup Analyzer - we've taken your feedback and made the tool much more intuitive and comprehensive
  • Enhanced our Fantasy Football Wordpress Plugin to include filtering capabilities on draft rankings
  • Launched our first ever game product: Perfect Draft Challenge! Put your expertise on the line to draft the best roster possible!

There are many more items that we could put on the list, and even though you may not notice them, they're bound to have an impact on your FFN experience. For example, we've run millions of simulations against our NerdRank algorithm to tweak how we evaluate and weight each source of data both during the preseason as well as during our weekly aggregations.

The offseason has been just as interesting outside of FFN as well. Tom Brady left the Patriots - a place where his name will be etched in stone forever - and has made his way down to the warmer climate of Tampa Bay. His friend and the guy who has caught the vast majority of his touchdowns, Rob Gronkowski, has come out of retirement and will suit up with him for the Bucs. Perhaps no other team has had their prospects for a Super Bowl rise as dramatically as Tampa Bay. Thinking about drafting Gronk? Here's what we have to say!

We watched a dramatic trade happen between the Texans and the Cardinals that saw stud WR DeAndre Hopkins head to Arizona along with a fourth-round pick in exchange for RB David Johnson along with a second-round pick and a fourth-rounder next year. It will be interesting to see how Kyler Murray utilizes Hopkins and the rest of his receiving corp. In fact, Arizona will now take the field with what is arguably one of the best offenses on paper - Murray, Hopkins, Fitzgerald, Kirk, and likely retaining Kenyan Drake.

Here are a couple of other highlights:

  • Andy Dalton was released by the Bengals and is currently looking for a home - as is Cam Newton who will not be under center for the Panthers this season.
  • Jameis Winston's services are no longer needed with Brady in town, so he's calling the bayou of New Orleans home this season. The Saints QB situation is getting...crowded.
  • The Bears have given up on TE Trey Burton and signed veteran Jimmy Graham to their roster after Graham was released by the Packers.
  • Speedy WR Brandin Cooks will likely see an uptick in targets with his new Houston team.
  • Ted Ginn Jr will be playing in the Windy City this season.

With the NFL draft behind us, it's time to start looking forward to another fantasy football season. You need this. We need this. Our nation needs this.

Let's get to it!
