Spots For Fantasy Football Drafts

Saturday, Aug 18, 2012 at 12:00 pm ET

Draft Day is the biggest day of the fantasy season and one of the most fun. Most drafts are conducted online these days, but for those who can get together to draft, there's nothing more fun than having everyone all together. It's even better when there's no cleanup! Looking for ideas on where to host your draft? Look no further...

Buffalo Wild Wings

1. Buffalo Wild Wings

I love B-Dubs. The atmosphere...the food...big screen tv's in every possible direction...it's just awesome. They are my favorite sports hangout. I've seen the draft kit and each one includes a League Champion pennant, draft board, player stickers, koozies, and $100 in gift certs for future use. And, as always, Buffalo Wild Wings has Wi-Fi. B-Dubs is synonymous with fantasy football and there's a good reason for that. Contact your local BWW and reserve your draft party.

2. Hooters

Hooters has...well, we know what Hooters has. Individuals who host their draft parties at participating Hooters locations will receive a FoxSports.com Draft Party Kit. The kit includes "Hooters Seasonal Tickets," which provides Fantasy Leagues weekly offers each time they visit the location to watch the games. The kit also includes: a Fantasy Draft Board, Fantasy Draft stickers, 12 Fantasy Draft "cheat sheet" guides, and a customized Hooters FoxSports.com Draft Guide Magazine. Wi-Fi is available at most locations.

3. Dave and Busters

Book your fantasy draft party at Dave & Buster's and receive a free Pro Football Weekly Fantasy Football Guide (while supplies last); Free CBS Draft Kit complete with draft board, stickers, and worksheets (while supplies last); free room rental and Wi-Fi, 10% off food and non-alcoholic beverages, and free $10 in game play per person.

4. Tilted Kilt

Like Hooters, Tilted Kilt is famous for their servers and their attire. Most locations would be happy to host your draft and some offer a special package with 20% off food purchases for your attendees, a dedicated TK Girl to help manage the draft, free Wi-Fi, and more. If you go, ask for a Big Arse burger and tell 'em Joe sent ya!

5. Local Establishments

If you don't have access to one of the above options and moving out of the boonies is out of the question, ask around your town. Most companies would welcome the influx of 10 or more people. They may not have the draft kits or even Wi-Fi, but you'll have everyone together and that's awesome!

If you're aware of other great spots for draft parties, let me know and I'll share them!
