O-Ro averaged 11.1 minutes across 67 appearances through two seasons with Miami. He's not expected to play a big role for his new team and is off the fantasy radar.
After being waived by the Heat less than two weeks ago, Robinson joined Houston for Summer League. He has played well through four games, averaging 14.5 points and 9.3 rebounds per game while maintaining a high field goal percentage. He was once seen as the next undrafted success story for Miami, but that dream ended when they drafted Kel'el Ware. Robinson still doesn't have a contract, but his performance this summer has certainly warranted a new deal, whether it is in Houston or elsewhere.
Sunday's matchup wasn't the easiest for Sarr, especially after the Rockets inserted veteran center Orlando Robinson into the lineup. The rookie missed all five of his 3-point attempts and did not attempt a free throw; his physicality will need to improve, but that should happen as Sarr adds muscle to his lithe frame. If anything, Sarr's play shows why the Wizards signed Jonas Valanciunas in free agency. The veteran's presence will help the rookie acclimate to the NBA without having too much responsibility immediately thrown his way.
Waived by the Heat on July 7, Robinson has been playing with the Rockets in Las Vegas. He made the most of his minutes on Sunday, coming off the bench and producing a dominant effort against the Wizards. While all 15 of Houston's standard contract slots are tied up, players like Robinson are auditioning for all 30 teams. Performances like Sunday will keep him on the radar of NBA scouts and decision-makers.
Robinson was once seen as the next undrafted player to become a solid player in Miami. However, after they drafted Kel'el Ware in the first round last month, Robinson was bumped down the depth chart. He may be able to find a different team to take a chance on him, but his time in Miami is over.
