The versatile 29-year-old former top prospect signed a one-year, $2 million deal with the Nationals during the offseason and posted a lackluster .663 OPS with seven homers and one steal in 235 plate appearances over 64 games. There's a chance another team is willing to pick him up off waivers in the coming days.
