Christian McCaffrey

Robinson now has eight rushing attempts in each of the Niners' past three games, playing the breather back role behind Christian McCaffrey, who handled 24 touches on Sunday against Cleveland.

McCaffrey carried the ball 20 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and caught all four of his targets for 21 yards in Sunday's 26-8 win over the Browns.

It was an ugly game for both teams in windy Cleveland, and McCaffrey was able to grind out a decent statistical day against the elite Browns defense thanks to his role as the centerpiece of the run-first San Francisco offense. McCaffrey scored on a goal line carry in the first half and ceded some backfield action to Brian Robinson (eight rushes for 26 yards) in the second half. CMC had four targets as Brock Purdy was limited to just 29 throws. McCaffrey and the Niners have their bye in Week 14 before facing the Titans in Week 15.

Cleveland s special teams has been an issue for the club all season and it was again early in Sunday s matchup with San Francisco.

The forecast for today's 49ers-Browns game calls for sustained winds of 25 mph with gusts around 35 mph. The total in this game has dropped from 42.5 to 35.5. Expect a run-heavy game plan from both sides. RBs Christian McCaffrey and Quinshon Judkins can stay in fantasy lineups. TE George Kittle is the only comfortable play from either passing game. Avoid the kickers.
