Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) is active for Week 14 against the Cowboys.St. Brown was unable to practice this week after injuring his ankle last Thursday against the Packers. While he possesses some re-injury risk, he was moving very well during warmups and should be started against the Cowboys this evening. The Lions declared S Kerby Joseph, WR Kalif Raymond, OG Kayode Awosika, TE Hayden Rucci, DL Mekhi Wingo and DL Tyler Lacy inactive for Week 14 against the Cowboys. Lions RT Penei Sewell (shoulder), LT Taylor Decker (shoulder/rest) and C Graham Glasgow (knee) are active.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Out Again TuesdayLions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) remained sidelined for Tuesday's practice. He said afterward that he's still uncertain whether he'll be able to play vs. the Cowboys on Thursday night. I m not sure right now, if I m being honest," St. Brown said. "It s still up in the air. I ma try to be out there for the guys, for my teammates, but I couldn t answer that question right now. We'll see how St. Brown is listed on tomorrow's final injury report, but fantasy owners should not be counting on him playing vs. Dallas. WR Kalif Raymond (ankle) is also expected to miss Week 14, HC Dan Campbell said. That'll leave Jameson Williams, Isaac TeSlaa, and Tom Kennedy as Detroit's top three WRs, if St. Brown is out.
Lions coach Dan Campbell said Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) won't practice on Tuesday. He added that if St. Brown can possibly play, he will. And since he also ruled out fellow wideout Kalif Raymond in this presser, it sounds like there is a non-zero chance that St. Brown plays against the Cowboys on Thursday. We would still regard him as on the pessimistic side of questionable given the two missed practices.
Lions coach Dan Campbell said Kalif Raymond (ankle) will not play in Detroit's Week 14 game against the Cowboys.Since suffering this ankle injury in Week 12, Raymond has not yet practiced. Isaac TeSlaa took over as the third wideout last week and scored despite seeing just two targets. TeSlaa has already proven himself a big-play threat, but his target volume is so low he'll be hard to trust in a FLEX spot.
Amon-Ra St. Brown Sidelined MondayLions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (ankle) did not practice on Monday. While he reportedly dodged a serious injury, we're not expecting him to play vs. the Cowboys on Thursday night.
