Henderson and Lawrence paint playoff masterpiece; more winners and losers of Week 15TreVeyon Henderson, Trevor Lawrence and Trey McBride led the way with big Week 15 performances, while Joe Burrow, Quinshon Judkins and Ladd McConkey were among the biggest disappointments.
TreVeyon Henderson: Two long rushing TDs not enoughHenderson rushed 14 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns while catching two of three targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 35-31 loss to the Bills.
Rhamondre Stevenson rushed six times for 50 yards in the Patriots' Week 15 loss to the Bills.Stevenson started the game well, breaking three tackles on a 13-yard gain. In truth, he ran pretty well and also added 27 receiving yards on three catches. The only issue is that TreVeyon Henderson was electric and ripped off two big rushing touchdowns. Also, Stevenson was called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for punching Matt Milano after a tackle, which may not have endeared him to head coach Mike Vrabel. We'd still expect this to be some form of committee next week against the Ravens.
TreVeyon Henderson rushed 14 times for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the Patriots' Week 15 loss to the Bills. The rookie also added 13 yards receiving on two catches. On one hand, 117 of Henderson's 148 yards came on just two carries. On the other hand, those two carries were fantastic. On both of them, Henderson showed good vision, patience, and elite burst to hit the outside and leave all defenders in his dust. There is no question that he's the most dynamic runner in the Patriots' backfield, and he did outcarry Rhamondre Stevenson 14-6, so perhaps Mike Vrabel will give the rookie a chance to be the lead back next week against the Ravens.
NFL Week 13 Recap: Immediate fantasy football takeaways from Giants-Patriots Monday Night FootballTyrone Tracy Jr. had been the New York Giants lead running back before an in-game rotation shift and a fourth-quarter hip injury opened the door for Devin Singletary to take over the backfield. In New England, Kayshon Boutte s return reshaped the Patriots wide receiver rotation while Rhamondre Stevenson reclaimed the lead role at running back, leaving Javon Diggs and TreVeyon Henderson in reduced but still potentially useful roles heading into a favorable post-bye schedule.
