NBC SportsNFL insider Jordan Schultz reports 49ers DC Robert Saleh is meeting in person with the Titans on Monday for their head-coaching vacancy.

Saleh was initially set to meet with the Titans virtually on Sunday, but instead pushed his interview to Monday so he could hold an in-person meeting with the team. His interview comes shortly after the team wrapped things up with former Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, who is believed by some to be the front runner to land the position. Schultz reported earlier that Saleh, Nagy, and Jeff Hafley were believed to be the top three choices for the Titans, who recently saw Hafley get taken off the market by the Dolphins. If there's any truth to Saleh and Nagy being the Titans' top options, they'll likely move quickly to close the deal with their preferred candidate as they look to find the coach best fit to lead the franchise and No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward into the future.

NBC SportsESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Titans will interview Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for their head coaching vacancy a second time.

The Titans already conducted a virtual interview with Nagy. They will now meet him in person later this week. They are also pursuing Packers DC Jeff Hafley, who is likely their first choice. If Hafley doesn't take the job, Nagy could get a second chance at leading a team. He went 34-31 with the Bears after a successful run as the Chiefs' quarterbacks coach and eventually offensive coordinator. His latest stint as the Chiefs' OC has not gone as well. With the best quarterback on the planet at his disposal, Nagy's Chiefs have topped out at 15th in points per game over the past three years. It's hard to see him doing better with Cam Ward under center.

NBC SportsTitans interviewed Steelers offensive coordinator Arthur Smith for the team's head coaching vacancy.

Though Smith technically remains the Steelers OC, he'll be elsewhere in 2026 after head coach Mike Tomlin stepped down on Tuesday afternoon. Smith served as Tennessee's offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2020, creating a dominant run-heavy offense quarterbacked by Ryan Tannehill. If the Titans bring back Smith as the team's head coach, he would likely install a similarly run-first offense around QB Cam Ward. Probably it wouldn't be a great development for Ward's fantasy prospects in 2026 and beyond. Smith's Steelers offense in 2025 ranked 18th in EPA per play. They had the league's sixth highest rushing success rate.

NBC SportsNFL Network's Tom Pelissero reports the Giants, Titans, and Falcons "appear to have the inside track" on hiring John Harbaugh for head coach.

Harbaugh gave his first interview with the Falcons on Monday after reports the Giants and Titans were also in the mix. Though other teams are interested and pretty much all teams have called, Harbaugh is prioritizing the head coaching vacancies for the Giants, Titans, and Falcons. Pelissero reports he is expected to interview with all three teams by the end of the week. The Falcons have the two oldest starting quarterbacks among the three teams, while Cam Ward and Jaxson Dart are both first-round picks entering their sophomore seasons. The former Ravens head coach is narrowing his options as he gets closer to a decision.
