Rams RB Kyren Williams (ankle) was limited on Thursday.Williams told reporters, post-game, that "his ankle is good because he had scar tissue from a previous injury that helped him when he was rolled up on." Talk about looking on the bright side. Regardless, Williams is on track to face the Cardinals this weekend with No. 2 RB Blake Corum frequently rotating in. Williams is a borderline RB1/2.
Kyren Williams (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice.Williams suffered an ankle injury and played through it in Week 13. It looks to be a minor issue, though the Rams are being cautious and keeping him limited to open the week. Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said on Wednesday the team want to keep Williams fresh for the playoffs, so fantasy managers should not be surprised to see more limited practice listings moving forward. Williams is in the RB2 range for Week 14 against the Cardinals, but his potential workload limitations may lead to Blake Corum being a standalone FLEX play as well.
Rams OC Mike LaFleur said the team wants Kyren Williams fresh for the playoffs. In other words, the LA backfield split between Williams and Blake Corum will continue in the final weeks of the regular season. "LaFleur told me he thinks they've been seeing the best version of Williams because he's fresher and not being asked to carry as much of the load, and the Rams have their sights set on January and February games and want everyone as fresh as possible," ESPN's Dan Graziano said. Over the Rams' past five games, Williams leads the backfield with 76 rushing attempts to 48 rushes for Corum. Williams has an outsized lead in running back routes, but only six targets over the past five games. Williams, dealing with an ankle injury, will be a touchdown-dependent RB2 in Week 14 against the Cardinals if he suits up. Corum should be stashed in all leagues.

Kyren Williams rushed 13 times for 72 yards and a touchdown in Week 13's loss to the Panthers.Williams might be looking at a two-touchdown day were it not for an ankle injury that knocked him from the game in the second quarter with the ball on the Panthers' two-yard line. Despite the inconvenient injury, which resulted in a two-yard score by Blake Corum, Williams did return in the second half and found paydirt on a seven-yard run in the fourth quarter to briefly give the Rams the lead. Williams has now found the end zone in four of his last five games and remains a reliable RB1 ahead of Week 14's game against the Cardinals.
