Tyrell Shavers News
Josh Palmer INACTIVEBills WR Josh Palmer (ankle) is inactive for today's game vs. the Steelers. WR Keon Coleman is back in the lineup, alongside WRs Khalil Shakir, Gabe Davis, Tyrell Shavers, and Brandin Cooks. Shakir is the only viable fantasy play here.
Bills declared WR Keon Coleman, TE Dalton Kincaid, WR Curtis Samuel, DT Phidarian Mathis, OL Chase Lundt and DB Ja'Marcus Ingram inactive for Week 12 against the Texans. This will be Coleman's fourth occasion missing game time due to disciplinary reasons in less than two years in the NFL. Kincaid (hamstring) and Samuel (elbow/neck) are both out due to injury. With Coleman out last week, the Bills relied on a wide receiver rotation including Khalil Shakir, Tyrell Shavers, Gabe Davis, Mecole Hardman and Samuel. Hardman has since been placed on injured reserve, helpfully reducing the personnel grouping for fantasy purposes. Unfortunately, the Texans field an elite pass defense.
Keon Coleman Healthy Scratched AgainBills WR Keon Coleman is a healthy scratch for tonight's game vs. the Texans. That's despite WRs Curtis Samuel and Mecole Hardman being out with injuries. Feel free to drop Coleman from all redraft rosters. WRs Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer, Gabe Davis, Tyrell Shavers, and Elijah Moore are active for Buffalo.
Curtis Samuel (neck/elbow) will not play in Week 12 against the Texans.Mecole Hardman will also be sidelined for this game. Josh Palmer should be locked in as the Bills' No. 2 receiver for Week 12. Gabe Davis and Tyrell Shavers will also be in the mix for routes.
Joshua Palmer caught 2-of-5 targets for 17 yards in a Week 11 win over the Bucs.Palmer tied Tyrell Shavers for the team lead in targets and made one crucial third-down catch over the middle, but that was about it for him on Sunday. Josh Allen also missed Palmer when the receiver was wide open on a third-down play deep in the Bucs' territory in the fourth quarter. Palmer doesn't need to be held on rosters in shallower formats, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see his role continue to grow towards the end of the season.
