DeAndre Hopkins News
Rashod Bateman (ankle) is inactive for Week 15 against the Bengals.Bateman was questionable entering the weekend but has been officially sidelined for Sunday's game. DeAndre Hopkins will likely serve as his replacement on Sunday against the Bengals, but Hopkins is an easy fade for fantasy managers give then he hasn't caught more than two passes in any game this season. In addition to Bateman, the Ravens also declared CB Keyon Martin, OT Joseph Noteboom, DT Aeneas Peebles, and QB Cooper Rush inactive for Week 15.
Rashod Bateman INACTIVERavens WR Rashod Bateman (ankle) is inactive for today s game vs. the Bengals. Expect more snaps for WR DeAndre Hopkins, but he d be a desperation fantasy play.
Rashod Bateman Questionable For Week 15Ravens WR Rashod Bateman (ankle) is questionable for this weekend s game vs. the Bengals. He was added to the injury report on Thursday and then didn t practice Friday, which isn t a good look. Bateman s absence would likely mean a boost in playing time for WR DeAndre Hopkins, but he d still fall short of fantasy viability.
Ravens HC John Harbaugh said he would like to see DeAndre Hopkins more involved with the offense.Hopkins has run nine or fewer routes in five games this season, and tied a season-low in Week 14's loss to the Steelers when he ran a whole seven routes. It would seem that more snaps and routes would go a long way in getting Hopkins more involved with the offense, but we can't be too sure. Hopkins hasn't seen more than four targets in any game this season, and last topped 50 yards in Week 2. The Ravens have a Week 15 game against the Bengals on tap in what is effectively an elimination game. We'll see if the Ravens actually get Hopkins more involved, or if this is another meaningless coach quote that falls by the wayside.
