Tre Tucker

Raiders TE Brock Bowers delivered the fantasy points in Sunday's loss to the Chargers, despite limited help from his team. He caught four balls for a game-high 63 yards and the team's only two TDs. Only RB Ashton Jeanty drew more targets. Besides Jeanty and Bowers, WR Tre Tucker and WR Jack Bech were the only other Raiders to catch more than one pass.

The Chargers' pass rush consistently impacted Raiders QB Geno Smith's dropbacks and the secondary covered Tucker well. The speedy wide receiver had a nice 10-yard, sideline snag on a comeback route on the Raiders' eighth drive. A few plays later, he got open in the red zone by hesitating at the top of his stem before breaking inward. He secured the pass and was tackled at the Chargers' three-yard line. Tucker is a boom-bust FLEX against the Broncos' elite defense next week.

Raiders TE Michael Mayer (ankle) is out for Sunday s game vs. the Chargers. He s averaged 5.0 targets across his last three healthy games, so his absence is a boost to TE Brock Bowers and WR Tre Tucker.

Mayer only has 30 targets to his name this year. His absence is hardly consequential, though it theoretically frees up one or two for TE Brock Bowers and WR Tre Tucker (knee) to fight for. Mayer does not need to be rostered in 12-team re-draft leagues.

Tucker holds a three-target lead (64) over his teammates, but his role is occasionally limited to running cardio, given the offense's overall dysfunction. The team fired OC Chip Kelly earlier this week, elevating QB coach Greg Olson to the interim offensive coordinator position. Olson previously served as the Raiders' offensive coordinator twice before. Tucker is a boom-bust WR4/FLEX.
