NBC SportsEvan Engram (hamstring) is questionable for Week 6 against the Bears.

Engram was limited in practice throughout the week. He is still working his way back from the hamstring injury he suffered in pre-game warmups before Week 2. Doug Pederson said earlier in the week that the chances of Engram returning on Sunday were "pretty good." That puts him on the right side of questionable, though he does appear to be a true game-time call. Brenton Strange would get the start if he is ruled out ahead of kickoff. Strange has 12 grabs for 120 yards and a score over the past four weeks.

FF TodayEvan Engram expected back in Week 6

Sidelined with answering issue since pregame injury in Week 2 Jaguars HC Doug Pederson believes TE Evan Engram, who has not played since Week 1 due to a hamstring injury, is likely to return for Sunday s game in London vs. the Bears. I think the chances of him getting back in here this week are pretty good, Pederson said. (ESPN - Adam Schefter) FF Today's Take: While Engram's absence has not been the sole reason Trevor Lawrence has struggled for parts of the 2024 season, it has contributed. Engram went over the century mark in catches last season and, in theory, should take some defensive attention away from Brian Thomas Jr. and Christian Kirk when he is not supposed to be the primary read. Brenton Strange has filled in nicely during his absence, but Engram offers more game-breaking ability and should serve as a top 10 option at tight end moving forward.

NBC SportsTrevor Lawrence completed 28-of-34 passes for 371 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the Jaguars' 37-34, Week 5 win over the Colts.

Embattled amidst the Jaguars' 0-4 start, hundred-millionaire 2.5x over Lawrence locked in for a career-high yardage performance. His 10.9 yards per attempt were also 3.2 more than he had managed in any previous 2024 start. The multi-score effort was just his second, though second in two weeks. He had an 85-yard touchdown strike to Brian Thomas Jr. where Lawrence displayed confidence BTJ would run by the DB, as well as a four-yard end zone cash-in to Brenton Strange. He found Christian Kirk for a non-scoring, 61-yard completion where Lawrence hit Kirk after he ran by the entire defense. Put another way, Lawrence finally started hitting the big throws he's been missing all year. We'll see if he can get a hot streak going in Week 6 against a Bears defense that has been really tough on opposing passers.
