Both Lane Johnson and Jalen Carter were ruled out Friday after missing the entire week of practice.

The Eagles' big-name linemen -- Carter and Johnson -- remain week to week. Although Johnson reportedly has a decent shot at returning for Week 16, Carter's status remains unknown as he recovers from shoulder surgery.

This was expected. Carter was labeled week-to-week eight days ago after undergoing procedures on both shoulders at the beginning of Week 14. The Eagles (8-5) sit atop the NFC East. They face the Commanders (3-10) in Week 16 and the Bills (9-4) in Week 17.
