Payne Durham

Otton failed to practice on Monday or Tuesday. He managed a limited session today, but the doubtful tag makes it highly unlikely that he suits up versus Atlatna. Payne Durham will see an uptick in routes with Otton out, though there won't be many targets for him to handle with Mike Evans expected to make his return.

Buccaneers TE Cade Otton (knee) is doubtful for Thursday night's game against the Falcons. He's averaged 5.1 targets per game this season, although that's sunk to 3.0 over the last two games with WR Chris Godwin ramping up. Otton will be replaced by some combination of TEs Payne Durham and Devin Culp, but neither is a fantasy option. Expect more targets to be funneled to the WRs and RBs.

Otton has now been listed with a DNP on back-to-back days. With a short week ahead of a Thursday game against the Falcons, Otton will likely need to log a practice Wednesday in order to play. If he cannot go, Chris Godwin should see a bump in usage while Payne Durham is next up at tight end.

It's an estimated report, but it's a new listing for Tampa's tight end. He's not been particularly fantasy relevant since Tampa got Chris Godwin back, but this would seem to suggest there's a chance he misses Week 15. Payne Durham is behind Otton in the pecking order at tight end.
