Singletary wasn't pushed by backups Tyrone Tracy and Eric Gray, but both volume and production were impossible to come by with the Giants' passing attack essentially DOA with Daniel Jones at the helm. Trailing by multiple scores early, the Giants could never establish anything resembling the run. If nothing else, the Giants should not get buried quite so quickly and convincingly by the Commanders in Week 2, keeping Singletary in the FLEX mix.
