Israel Abanikanda

The Jets signed kick returner Kene Nwangwu to the active roster and released running back Israel Abanikanda.

Hall and the Jets have mostly downplayed his injury throughout the week. It's possible he's ready for his typical role coming off the Jets' bye, though it's probably still safer to treat him as an RB2 than the locked-in RB1 he has been ranked as most of the season. Inactive for the Jets are LB C.J. Mosley, RB Israel Abanikanda, OL Jake Hanson, OL Max Mitchell, CB Jarrick Bernard-Converse and EDGE Braiden McGregor.
