The Bills' top cornerback picked up a toe injury in practice towards the end of the week, and is unfortunately unable to go on Sunday. This is a huge loss for Buffalo, as Benford has been near elite over the last few weeks since overcoming an early season injury. The bills will start Tre'Davious White and Maxwell Hairston at corners and their depth will be severely tested, which is probably why they tried to sign Darius Slay a couple of weeks ago. The Bills also declared WR Gabe Davis, OT Tylan Grable, OT Chase Lundt. DT Phidarian Mathis, LB Terrel Bernard, and S Darnell Savage inactive.

Bills CB Christian Benford and LB Terrel Bernard are inactive for today's game against the Patriots. That leaves Buffalo down its lead corner. Bernard's absence is probably good news for Buffalo's run defense, which has allowed 5.5 yards per carry with him on the field vs. 3.4 with Shaq Thompson in his place.

Benford picked up a toe injury in practice on Thursday and was a DNP on Friday. He was spotted without a walking boot on the sideline during Friday's practice. He's likely a true question mark at this point. LB Terrel Bernard (elbow) got in three limited sessions this week and was also put on the questionable line by Sean McDermott.

The Bills' offensive line held up well last weekend, even with Brown and left tackle Dion Dawkins (concussion) out. Dawkins is back for this one, but the Bills will still be down their starting right tackle in a snow game, where they could rely on James Cook and the rushing attack a lot. Joey Bosa continues to be week-to-week, but his loss is a big one for this pass rush, and Shaq Thompson will start again with Terrel Bernard out.

Bills HC Sean McDermott announced Friday that Edge Joey Bosa and LB Terrel Bernard will miss Sunday's game against the Bengals. It's no surprise for Bernard, who was said to be an IR candidate when he initially suffered his elbow injury. (He has missed one game since.) It's also not a shock for Bosa, who left last Sunday's win over the Steelers early with a hamstring injury.
