NBC SportsBo Nix completed 29-of-45 passes for 321 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Broncos' 27-26, overtime win over the Commanders, adding 16 yards on two carries.

It was the classic up-and-down game for Nix, who made some spectacular throws that were overshadowed by remarkably poor decisions. A seemingly mundane 13-7 game at the half quickly shifted gears as each team found paint on their first possessions of the second half, made more interesting by a fourth-quarter Nix interception thrown directly into the lap of veteran linebacker Bobby Wagner. Nix would handle business in the extra frame, taking just five plays to march 76 yards for the go-ahead touchdown, but he watched from the sideline as the Commanders scored to answer. Nik Bonitto sealed the game with a deflected pass on the two-point try to send the team to their ninth-straight win and into a tie with the Patriots for the best record in the league through 13 weeks. Nix and the Broncos get a solid matchup against the reeling Raiders in Week 14 before a true test against the Packers at home a week later.
