Isaiah Hodgins caught 2-of-6 targets for 42 yards in the Giants' Week 12 loss against the Lions.Hodgins operated as the Giants' clear WR2 behind Wan'Dale Robinson and had his second straight solid outing. He caught a short touchdown from Jameis Winston in the first half and had a nice grab in traffic in the third quarter for a 30-yard gain. Hodgins could suffice in deeper fantasy formats with Darius Slayton battling a hamstring injury and being relegated to WR2 status in the New York offense.
Darius Slayton caught 1-of-2 targets for 23 yards in the Giants' Week 12 loss against the Lions.Slayton's 23-yard grab came on the first play of the game. He wasn't targeted again until the fourth quarter. Slayton, returning from a hamstring injury, ran 28 routes on 43 New York drop backs, running behind Wan'Dale Robinson and Isaiah Hodgins, both of whom had a touchdown against the Lions. Slayton should be considered nothing more than a deep league flex option in the coming weeks unless he passes Hodgins in the team's pass catching pecking order.
Jameis Winston completed 18-of-36 attempts for 366 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception in the Giants' Week 12 loss against the Lions, adding four rushes and 13 yards.Winston, against all odds, also had a receiving touchdown on a trick play in the second half. Winston caught the ball at the ten yard line and shed a tackler before reaching the end zone in one of the more awkward receiving scores in recent memory. Though he missed some routine throws in the second half, Winston had several strong throws to Wan'Dale Robinson, who had nine grabs for 156 yards and a touchdown in this one. Winston also connected with Isaiah Hodgins for a short score.
Darius Slayton Still Out WednesdayGiants WR Darius Slayton (hamstring) remained sidelined for Wednesday's practice. That doesn't bode well for his chances of returning for this weekend's game vs. the Lions. Isaiah Hodgins and Jalin Hyatt operated as New York's No. 2 and 3 WRs behind Wan'Dale Robinson last week.
Isaiah Hodgins caught 5-of-6 targets for 57 scoreless yards in the Giants' Week 11 loss to the Packers.Making his 2025 debut after some nice Giants fill-in work the past few seasons, Hodgins led the team in yards and receptions with Darius Slayton (hamstring) on the shelf. Even if Slayton returns for Week 12 against the Lions, Hodgins is going to be needed for looks, just not enough to truly put him on the WR4 radar in this ultimately limited offense.
