Bengals RB Chase Brown led the backfield with 44 yards on 15 carries in Week 7. He didn't find the end zone but ended up playing ahead of RB Zack Moss.
Moss was the second running back in after Chase Brown this week, rushing for an inefficient seven yards on six carries. He also caught three passes for 33 yards, but there wasn't much opportunity against a tough Browns defense. The Bengals' running back rotation is shaping out to be a 1A-1B situation with Moss as the 1B for now. He is a low-end RB2 play against the Eagles for Week 8.
It was a low-passing volume day for the Bengals, with Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins taking most of Joe Burrow's attention. With Chase Brown and Zack Moss also taking some of the short-yardage, checkdown looks, Iosivas was an afterthought and saw just one target. Moving forward, Iosivas is best left on fantasy benches unless one of Higgins or Chase will miss time.
Brown was in as the Bengals' first running back, working ahead of Zack Moss to the tune of 17 touches, compared to Moss' nine. Brown had a big 28-yard first quarter run wiped out due to a penalty, and did not have many explosive plays outside of that. On what was a pedestrian day for the Bengals offense, fantasy managers can take solace in Brown's volume. He is in the RB2 mix Week 8 against the Eagles.
Bengals RB Chase Brown led teammate Zack Moss in basically every category in Sunday night's win over the Giants. He played more snaps (33-24), got more carries (10-6), ran more routes (20-14), drew more targets (3-1), and beat Moss in yards per touch (5.3 to 2.1). The RBs also appeared to get different treatment after their second-half fumbles.
