Packers WR Romeo Doubs led the team in targets Sunday for the first time since Week 1. He tallied game highs in receptions (8) and receiving yards (94) in the win over the Texans. Doubs drew a strong 30.3% target share and ran a route on a team-high 86.5% of QB Jordan Love's dropbacks.
Packers quarterback Jordan Love drove his team 44 yards in the final 104 seconds of Sunday's game against the Texans to set up Brandon McManus's game-winning field goal try and he was able to celebrate after the new Packer lifted the team to a 24-22 win.
Jordan Love looked equal parts Aaron Rodgers and Brett Favre. The Texans finally got their run game going, only to have C.J. Stroud look pedestrian. Someone has to lose a heavyweight fight, and this round went to Green Bay.
Kraft impressively broke a Texans tackle on the sideline on his first catch, converting a second-and-6 underneath throw for a first down, then spiked a 14-yard post over the middle that Jordan Love threaded perfectly for a score. Kraft has now scored in three of four games and is an easy TE1 start against the Jaguars in Week 8.
Love's throw to Tucker Kraft on his first score was an anticipation throw of beauty, and he continued to aggressively target the Texans downfield throughout the game. Love attempted 10 targets of 10 or more yards, completing four of them for 78 yards. It was a fairly game effort from Houston's defense, but Love was able to come up with a huge final throw to Romeo Doubs to set up a game-winning field goal. Love will be an easy QB1 next week against a Jaguars pass defense that has been picked apart all season.
