The San Francisco 49ers elevated kicker Matt Gay and linebacker Jalen Graham from the practice squad to face the Cleveland Browns in Week 13.

49ers K Eddy Pineiro (hamstring) is out for Sunday s game vs. the Browns. Matt Gay will kick again for San Francisco but isn t a recommended fantasy play in what s expected to be bad weather in Cleveland.

Pineiro is still not back at practice after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 11. Matt Gay kicked in his stead in Week 12 and is likely to do so again for Week 13 against the Browns.

Christian McCaffrey totaled 142 yards and scored in his return to Carolina, powering the San Francisco 49ers to a 20-9 win despite Brock Purdy s three first-half interceptions. San Francisco shifted to a run-heavy, short-passing approach after halftime, with McCaffrey s 12-yard touchdown run and a Matt Gay field goal extending a lead the defense protected throughout. Bryce Young managed only 169 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, including a costly red-zone pick in the fourth quarter, as Carolina squandered multiple chances to keep pace and fell to 6-6.
