Lil'Jordan Humphrey caught 1-of-3 targets for five yards in the Broncos' Conference Championship loss to the Patriots.Sean Payton has long been a card-carrying member of the Lil'Jordan Humphrey Fan Club and reunited with the veteran receiver mid-season in November. Humphrey played his first snaps with the Broncos in Week 11 and wound up catching nine passes for 101 yards and one touchdown in seven regular-season games with the team. Humphrey also hauled in a 29-yard touchdown in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to help the Broncos advance past the Bills. Humphrey started this season with the Giants only to be cut later in the season. He'll be a free agent this offseason, but his familiarity with Payton and the Broncos could lure him back to Denver on a short-term deal for 2026.
Troy Franklin INACTIVEBroncos WR Troy Franklin (hamstring) has been ruled OUT of the AFC Championship game vs. the Patriots. Franklin was a limited participant in practice all week after suffering the injury early in last week's win over Houston but was ultimately unable to get fully healthy. Pat Bryan was cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol and will start as Denver's No. 2 WR opposite Courtland Sutton. Marvin Mims and Lil'Jordan Humphrey will also receive a boost in snaps with Franklin sidelined.
Troy Franklin Questionable For AFC ChampionshipBroncos WR Troy Franklin (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Sunday's AFC Championship vs. the Patriots. He was limited in practice all week. WR Pat Bryant (concussion) is off the final injury report and figures to serve as Denver's No. 2 WR this weekend. Franklin's absence would leave Marvin Mims and Lil'Jordan Humphrey as the third and fourth WRs.
Lil'Jordan Humphrey caught 2-of-5 targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' AFC Divisional Round win over the Bills.Humphrey was thrust into a larger role after Pat Bryant suffered a concussion on the first drive. However, things didn't start great for Humphrey as he dropped a sure-fire touchdown pass from Bo Nix on that same drive. Later, right before halftime, Humphrey was able to get behind fourth-string safety Darnell Savage for a touchdown. The 27-year-old may be relied on again next week if Bryant can't return to the field.
Pat Bryant ConcussedBroncos WR Pat Bryant sustained a concussion on the first possession of Saturday's win over the Bills. The rookie was busy before exiting, catching all three of his targets for 32 yards on Denver's first four offensive snaps. He'll have an extra day to get cleared for next Sunday's AFC Championship, but Bryant won't be helped by the fact that this is his second concussion in the past month. He was hospitalized and eventually diagnosed with a concussion in Week 16. WR Marvin Mims stepped up sans Bryant in the win over Buffalo, catching eight balls for 93 yards and a score. WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey caught two of five targets for 33 yards and a score. WR Troy Franklin did not see a target.
