Dortch could return for the Week 18 finale, but it's likely that the season is over for the 27-year-old. Assuming his campaign is done, he finishes 2025 with 29 receptions for 2026 yards and three touchdowns. Trent Sherfield has been promoted from the practice squad to take Dortch's place.

Cardinals WR Greg Dortch (chest) has been placed on IR. He was already ruled out for Sunday's game vs. the Rams but will now miss at least another three games beyond that. WR Marvin Harrison Jr. (heel) is also out for Week 14, while WR Xavier Weaver (hamstring) is iffy after missing Friday's practice. Arizona elevated WRs Trent Sherfield and Jalen Brooks from the practice squad. They figure to join Michael Wilson and Andre Baccellia as the Cardinals' top four WRs against the Rams. Wilson and TE Trey McBride should dominate targets.

The Cardinals placed Dortch (chest) on injured reserve Saturday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
