The two-way contract guard hit some big shots in the fourth quarter, including a three with 1:12 remaining that gave Golden State a 98-94 lead. In the three games leading up to Tuesday, the two-way contract guard totaled seven points on 3-of-6 shooting from the field. Against the Thunder, Spencer also recorded a career-high in made shots (eight) and provided solid value in the assist category. Regarding season-long fantasy value, only Nikola Jokic and Victor Wembanyama have been better than SGA, and the latter is currently out with a calf injury.
Gary Payton II (ankle) will not return to Wednesday's game against the Rockets.Payton sprained his left ankle after playing five minutes during the first half. His absence doesn't impact fantasy basketball, but it does free up minutes for a few of the other Warriors reserves. Gui Santos and Pat Spencer have played a few minutes, but neither player should be streamed if Payton misses time.
