NBC SportsJoe Vardon of the Athletic reports the Clippers and president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank have agreed to a multiyear contract extension.

Contract details weren't disclosed, though the extension is believed to be for four years. The 55-year-old front office executive has been the Clippers' president since 2017 and took home the Executive of the Year award in 2020. Frank has navigated through some difficult issues already this season. The team drew criticism for his decision to send Chris Paul home in early December as well as the allegations that the organization circumvented the NBA's salary cap rules by arranging a no-show job for superstar Kawhi Leonard. Frank and the Clippers have come out on the other side winning 15 of their last 18 games, making it the right time to announce his extension that had been in the works for awhile, according to Vardon.
