Christie exited Saturday's loss to the Lakers early in the third quarter after spraining his left ankle, but he was not in the locker room long before returning. If he's unable to play, the Mavericks would likely give Jaden Hardy rotation minutes after he picked up a DNP-CD on Saturday.

The Mavericks are without multiple rotation players, with Thursday's game being their second in as many nights. Williams, Martin and Powell are in the starting five, filling the voids left by Cooper Flagg, P.J. Washington and Daniel Gafford. Of the three new starters, Williams offers the highest streaming upside.

Christie will miss a second consecutive game after sitting out Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets. Jaden Hardy has started the last two games and should remain in the starting lineup, since the Mavericks are without multiple rotation players.

Flagg injured his ankle during Wednesday's loss to the Nuggets, the same one he tweaked the game prior against the Nets. Given how depleted the Mavericks' rotation will be for Thursday's game, expect to see a lot of Jaden Hardy and Caleb Martin out of necessity.

The Mavericks' starting lineup on Wednesday will look different from the one that last took the floor. Gafford (ankle) is back in the lineup, which sends Dwight Powell back to the bench against a Nuggets team also dealing with key injuries. The Mavericks are currently in 12th place in the Western Conference standings. They'll look to record a second straight win on Wednesday.
