Duren has had at least eight rebounds in every game since January 4. The 21-year-old center is an ideal fit with Cade Cunningham running the show for the Pistons. Duren doesn't need the ball in his hands to score, can run to the rim for dunks and quickly find others with passes to create offense. Duren's had at least five assists in each of his last four games. He's also played at least 28 minutes in four of his last five games, which raises his overall ceiling from when his playing time split with Isaiah Stewart was much closer.

Duren has grabbed at least 10 rebounds in seven of his last eight games. And he hasn't failed to collect at least eight in a game since January 4 against the Timberwolves (seven). However, his fantasy ceiling remains relatively low since Duren doesn't provide much outside of points and rebounds on most nights. He did dish out six assists on Sunday; hopefully, Duren can build on that. Detroit is scheduled to play four games during Week 16, two on each side of the All-Star break.
Cunningham is back after sitting out Friday's win over Philadelphia with a sprained right ankle. His return means Malik Beasley will come off the bench. While Beasley's fantasy ceiling is lowered, he'll play enough to merit being rostered in deep leagues. Tim Hardaway Jr., Ausar Thompson, Tobias Harris, and Jalen Duren complete the starting five.
Duren stepped up as a playmaker with Cade Cunningham (ankle) sidelined for this game. He isn't a bad passer, but assists haven't been a strength for him in fantasy basketball. However, he set a new career-high in this game and still recorded a double-double despite being limited to just 20 minutes due to foul trouble. Fouls have been an issue for Duren at times this season, and a matchup with Joel Embiid doesn't make that easier. Even if Cunningham remains out against Charlotte on Sunday, managers shouldn't expect Duren to continue to be dominant as a passer.
