With Tyrese Maxey (illness) unavailable, Grimes made his fifth start of the season on Friday. The rebounds and assists were encouraging, as was his recording a steal and a blocked shot. However, given Grimes' shooting ability, fantasy managers likely hoped to get a bit more from him in the points category. If Maxey can't play on Sunday in Atlanta, look for Grimes to remain in the starting lineup.

While the 76ers welcome back Embiid, they'll be without Tyrese Maxey, as he is out with an illness. Grimes moves into the starting lineup, with the move also meaning that Edgecombe will have the ball in his hands more as a primary playmaker. Both players now boast higher fantasy ceilings.

Maxey's status was downgraded from probable to questionable on Friday morning, so things may have been trending in this direction. He's been one of the best players in fantasy basketball this season, and the 76ers won't have an easy time filling the void. Jared McCain could potentially move into the starting lineup, with VJ Edgecombe and Quentin Grimes in line to receive boosts to their opportunities as well. Kyle Lowry is another option to step in for Maxey, but he is not worth streaming.

Maxey was listed as probable on Friday, so his downgraded status suggests he's in danger of sitting out against Indiana. If Maxey is unable to go, Jared McCain, VJ Edgecombe and Quentin Grimes could pick up the slack using a committee approach.
