Yabusele is back after missing Friday's loss to the Pistons with a sore right knee. However, he'll come off the bench with rookie Justin Edwards remaining in the starting five. Tyrese Maxey, Kelly Oubre Jr., Paul George, and Joel Embiid complete Philadelphia's opening lineup.
Maxey's 30-point streak may be over after seven games, but the 25-point streak is still active and reached 17 games in this one. It was an embarrassing loss for the 76ers, and the first half was especially bad. However, Maxey was still able to put up elite numbers. He has been a top-five player in 9-cat leagues over the past month, and he has been one of the few bright spots in Philadelphia this season. Maxey should continue to pour in the points whether Joel Embiid is available or not.
Guerschon Yabusele (knee) is sidelined, and Edwards will start in his place. With Joel Embiid and Andre Drummond both cleared to play, Edwards doesn't carry much fantasy appeal.
Butler was buried at the bottom of the depth chart in Washington, and it is unlikely that he is able to play a significant role for Philly. He was productive when he was given the opportunity with the Wizards, but with Tyrese Maxey ahead of him, the best case scenario for Butler is probably about 15 minutes per game, which isn't enough time for him to make a fantasy impact.
With Joel Embiid out and Paul George struggling in his first game back from a finger injury, Maxey once again led the 76ers offense as he's head to many times this season. Maxey dropped 31 points, but was hardly efficient on 28 shot attempts. The 24-year-old point guard has scored at least 30 points in his last seven straight games. He's set up for another big game against the Pistons Friday.
