Diabate was inadvertently hit in the face by Detroit's Isaiah Stewart during the first half of Sunday's game. He needed assistance walking back to the locker room and appeared unlikely to return. He's officially doubtful, with Tidjane Salaun starting the third quarter. Taj Gibson will also play more minutes during the second half.
Even with Isaiah Stewart out due to suspension, Duren played just 30 minutes in the 15-point win over the Mavericks Friday. Duren didn't have any blocks for the first time in five games, but recorded three steals. He was efficient in the post with 16 points on eight shots, pulled down 13 rebounds and even had five assists. Duren's ceiling is arguably capped by the Pistons refusal to play him more than 30 minutes, but he's been very efficient on the offensive end and active on the defensive end lately.
Stewart has six flagrant foul points on the season
Wednesday night's ejection was Stewart's sixth Flagrant Foul point of the season, which puts him over the limit and earns his suspension.
Detroit Pistons center Isaiah Stewart has been suspended one game without pay after picking up his sixth flagrant foul point of the season, the NBA announced on Friday.
