Toppin continues to be an inconsistent source of offense for Indiana, but this was his second straight game scoring at least 15 points. He's a solid depth piece for them, and he had the only positive +/- on the team in this game, so things went well when he was on the floor. Toppin injured his ankle landing awkwardly after converting a basket during the third quarter. While he did remain in the game at the time, the Pacers forward was eventually subbed out just before the end of the period. Jarace Walker will play additional minutes if Toppin misses time.
After exiting Sunday's game late in the third quarter, Toppin returned with just under seven minutes remaining in the fourth. However, he hasn't looked comfortable on that left leg. After Sunday, the Pacers visit Toronto on Tuesday.
Toppin is questionable to return during Sunday's game against Memphis due to a left ankle sprain.
