Gilgeous-Alexander has been so good this season that it's almost concerning that he was only able to put up 32 points in this game. The Memphis defense stifled SGA as he was just 8-of-26 from the field in this one. The Grizzlies' physical defense left Gilgeous-Alexander undeterred and he was able to get to the free throw line 16 times and knock down 13 free throws. He showed once again that it's very difficult to stop him from scoring, which is why he's one of the best players in fantasy basketball this year.
Wiggins will remain in the starting unit with Luguentz Dort still sidelined. Caruso will get his first start for the Thunder with Chet Holmgren sitting out the second leg of the back-to-back. Caruso turned in a 12/6/4/3/1 line with two 3-pointers on Friday.
With Luguentz Dort out, Holmgren will return to the starting lineup in his first game since November. However, Hartenstein won't be returning to the bench. It's unclear if this is what the starting lineup will be moving forward, with Dort replacing Wiggins when he's back. However, it will be an interesting experiment for Mark Daigneault.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander produces a 50-point haul as he helps Western Conference leaders Oklahoma City Thunder to a 140-109 win over the Phoenix Suns.
Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander became the ninth player in NBA history to score at least 50 points three times in a seven-game span, and the Thunder routed the Suns 140-109.
