White took on more of a scoring role Wednesday with Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday both out. White finished with 19 points, though it could've been a lot more than that. The 30-year-old point guard is typically a good 3-point shooter, but managed to make just 3-of-11 attempts from behind the 3-point line. White has been a top-50 fantasy player on the season.
Once again, the Celtics are without Jrue Holiday (shoulder) and Jaylen Brown (knee), which means Hauser will remain in the starting lineup. Even with all 30 teams in action, he's worth streaming in deep leagues. The absences also raise Payton Pritchard's fantasy ceiling despite coming off the bench.
With Holiday out of commission, Derrick White should continue to start at PG, while Al Horford will join the starting five alongside Kristaps Porzingis.
With Jaylen Brown (knee) sidelined, Hauser will get the starting nod in his place. Hauser scored 15 points on five 3-pointers in his last start. Luke Kornet started against the Knicks on Saturday, but with Porzingis back, Kornet will return to the bench.
Brown is experiencing swelling in his right knee, and he could be forced to sit out against the Heat. If he's ultimately ruled out, Sam Hauser could see additional run in his place. Holiday's absence means Derrick White will continue to start at PG while the Celtics promote Al Horford to the starting five.
