NBC SportsJimmy Butler (right knee soreness) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's Heat-Lakers game.

Butler is in danger of missing a second consecutive contest after sitting for Miami's loss to Boston. Jaime Jaquez Jr. might be in line for another start if Butler is ruled out after notching a double-double against the Celtics.

NBC SportsJaime Jaquez Jr. got the start on Monday and contributed 19 points (5-of-14 FGs, 9-of-12 FTs), 10 rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 108-89 loss to Boston.

With Jimmy Butler sidelined, Jaquez got his first start of the season, and he took advantage of the opportunity. He set a new season-high for points and recorded his first double-double of the year, though he didn't have a good night shooting the ball. The team shot 34.9% from the floor and 20.6% from beyond the arc, so Jaquez was just one of many that struggled to hit shots for Miami in this game. Butler's absence isn't expected to be a long-term thing, but if he remains out against the Lakers on Wednesday, or for one leg of their back-to-back on Saturday and Sunday, Jaquez should get more starts.

NBC SportsThe Heat will start Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith and Bam Adebayo against Boston on Monday.

With Jimmy Butler sidelined with a knee injury, Jaquez will get his first start of the season. He hasn't been impactful in fantasy hoops this season, but this is a great opportunity for him to have a solid night.
