Johnson played 33 minutes in Wednesday night's game against the Celtics and didn't seem to suffer an injury, so this could be generic wear and tear. That being said, missing Johnson, who has emerged as a legit star this season, would be a big loss for the Hawks. Corey Kispert and Luke Kennard would likely see more minutes, with Nickiel Alexander-Walker and Dyson Daniels getting an uptick in usage.

Risacher hasn't played since January 7th, but he does appear close to returning. In his absence, Corey Kispert and Luke Kennard should continue to play 20+ minutes.

Jalen Johnson had 32 points and 15 rebounds and a key basket in the closing minute as the Atlanta Hawks used a fourth-quarter burst and held on to defeat the Memphis Grizzlies 124-122 on Wednesday night. Luke Kennard and Onyeka Okongwu added 18 each for the Hawks, who snapped a four-game losing streak. Ja Morant led Memphis with 23 points and 12 assists.

Kennard was upgraded from probable to available after a neck injury kept him sidelined for the Hawks' most recent game against the Lakers. The veteran guard has remained a knockdown shooter in his ninth NBA season. He'll take the floor on the heels of arguably his most productive game of the season, when he scored 22 points and drained six three-pointers in a win over the Warriors.

Kennard played through a neck injury on Saturday and then sat out Tuesday's game against the Lakers. He seems likely to return on Thursday after missing just one game. It will be interesting to see how the Hawks manage the playing time between Kennard and Corey Kispert.
