NBC SportsJarrett Allen recorded 17 points (8-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal in Wednesday's win over the Lakers.

With Evan Mobley (calf) unavailable, Allen had a little more room to operate in the frontcourt. While the result wasn't an offensive explosion, the 17 points equaled his total in Cleveland's prior two games. Of course, fantasy managers will want more from Allen defensively, but 17 and nine isn't a bad effort from the 6-foot-9 center.

NBC SportsDonovan Mitchell, Sam Merrill, Jaylon Tyson, Dean Wade and Jarrett Allen will start Wednesday's game against the Lakers.

Merrill is back after missing time due to a hand injury and for personal reasons. He'll move into the starting lineup, filling the void left by the injured Evan Mobley. Cleveland's other four starters are unchanged from Monday's win over the Magic.

Yahoo SportsCavaliers beat Lakers 129-99, spoil LeBron James' return to Cleveland

Donovan Mitchell scored 25 points, Jaylon Tyson had 20 and the Cleveland Cavaliers used a big third quarter to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 129-99 and spoil LeBron James return to Northeast Ohio. De Andre Hunter added 19 points, and Jarrett Allen had 17 points and nine rebounds to help Cleveland to its season-best fifth straight victory. James had only 11 points, the first time in 13 trips to Cleveland as an opposing player he has not had at least 20.

NBC SportsDominick Barlow (back) is questionable for Friday's game against the Cavaliers.

Barlow fell hard on his back during the third quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Cavaliers and did not return. If he's unable to play on Friday, the 76ers could look to Jabari Walker to fill the void since Cleveland starts Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen. That said, Walker is not a must-stream player in that role, especially since the 76ers could also choose to start Adem Bona alongside Joel Embiid.
