A first-round pick of the 76ers in 2022, Roddy began his NBA career in Memphis before being traded to the Suns at the February deadline. At the time of the trade, he was in the midst of his best season as a professional. However, Roddy did not crack the Suns' rotation, as Royce O'Neale was the preferred choice. After playing for the Suns at the NBA 2K25 Summer League in hopes of improving his standing in the team's wing pecking order, Roddy is headed to Atlanta and will attempt to crack that rotation. With first-overall pick Zaccharie Risacher, De'Andre Hunter, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Dyson Daniels all in the mix, Roddy faces long odds of becoming a reliable fantasy option.
