Atlanta's wing rotation has been dropping like flies, which gave Roddy the opportunity to start for the first time as a Hawk. De'Andre Hunter, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Dyson Daniels and Vit Krejci were all sidelined, so Roddy filled out a bigger starting lineup around Trae Young. He has never been impactful in fantasy basketball, but if Atlanta continues to deal with this many injuries, Roddy may be worth streaming in deeper formats. He's currently rostered in just 1% of Yahoo leagues, so he shouldn't be difficult to find on the waiver wire.
Hawks guard Bogdan Bogdanovic, who hasn't played since the season opener because of a hamstring injury, underwent a non-surgical procedure Tuesday and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.
The Hawks announced that Bogdanovic (hamstring) underwent a non-surgical procedure Monday and will be re-evaluated in approximately four weeks.
Hunter and Bogdanovic missed Monday's matchup with the Wizards but Atlanta is more banged up this time around. Fantasy managers should expect a healthy helping of Trae Young and Jalen Johnson in round two.
Krejci's injury on its own may not impact much, but with Bogdan Bogdanovic and De'Andre Hunter already hurt, Atlanta's rotation is getting thin. Garrison Mathews and David Roddy should fill out the extra minutes.
